It's going to be great!

Well, I’m very excited about the opportunity to be able to be a witness for my Lord, the beginning of June! Its going to be very similar to what our church did last year in September: have you guessed it yet? Maybe I just tell you, we are going to have a church booth at the Butter Fest, (a fair) and it going to be twice as great because its gonna be on by birthday. =)

I’ll share with you all a little of what we are going to be doing there, the main thing that I did last year was take some “Survey’s, ( or “Intelligence Test’s”) of which I will be doing again. I will write it out so you can see what it looks like. The biggest thing that I appreciated about these “Survey’s” was the fact that I really got a chance to talk to a lot of folk about their need of Jesus. It was a really good way to get a conversation going. Once I would get through the whole thing the I would be able to share about the beautiful Gospel of Jesus Christ!
Another thing that we will be doing is passing out gospel tracts: which is also a wonderful way to witness, although I don’t get as much of a chance to talk to many people.

Jesus said “ Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall be the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh into the glory of his Father with the holy angels.” Mark 8:38 Wow, what a statement Jesus made! When I get to heaven will He be ashamed of me, because I was ashamed to speak of Him?

I have adopted this verse for my very own “ But none of these thing move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.” Acts 20:24
I’m most certainly not there yet, but praise God, He’s helping me every step of the way, because I am nothing with out Him!

Anyhow, here’s a copy of the “Survey” !=)

Great Reagan Quotes

"The nine most terrifying words in the English language are, 'I'm from the government and I'm here to help."

"Concentrated power has always been the enemy of liberty."

"Freedom prospers when religion is vibrant and the rule of law under God is acknowledged."

"Government's first duty is to protect the people, not run their lives."

"No government ever voluntarily reduces itself in size. Government programs, once launched, never disappear. Actually, a government bureau is the nearest thing to eternal life we'll ever see on this earth!"

"Protecting the rights of even the least individual among us is basically the only excuse the government has for even existing."

"The problem is not that people are taxed too little, the problem is that government spends too much."

"There are no easy answers' but there are simple answers. We must have the courage to do what we know is morally right."

"We must reject the idea that every time a law's broken, society is guilty rather than the lawbreaker. It is time to restore the American precept that each individual is accountable for his actions."

“Government is not a solution to our problem, government is the problem... Abortion is advocated only by persons who have themselves been born... I believe the best possible way social program is a job... The government’s view of the economy could be summed up in a few short phrases: If it moves, tax it. If it keeps moving, regulate it. And if it stops moving, subsidize it.”
—President Reagan

I found all but one of these quotes on Study.Quiet's Blog, and I really enjoyed them! My Dad and I have always admired former president Reagan!=)

Please Pray!

I would like to ask every one to pray for my 99 year old great Grandma.
Sunday night she fell and broke her shoulder, and she had surgery right away. She has for the most part, always been a healthy lady. I think she’s doing ok, but she’s very tired, and in a lot of pain ( which is very understandable) So please pray esp. because she is not a Christian, and she has a Catholic backround. Her 100th birthday would be October 2nd. Please pray that she gets saved, and that she recovers quickly.

Thank you!

A great time...

Charity, Rebecca and Hannah...

Wow, I had great fun last Sunday, it was so so good to see my best friend, pen pal and fellow blogger!!!
We had a great time talking, laughing and just having fun.=)

Oh, I must not fail to mention that I got the BEST birthday card that I have ever gotten in my life!
(You must be thinking that that sounds pretty great, well it was!) It said on the front cover "Hats off to you," and on the inside, it read: "Congratulatons on celebrating another year with your usual style and panache! Happy Birthday!"
And there were really cool and beautiful hats all over the outside and inside of the card... it was awesome! So thanks Hannah for the wonderful card! I love you!=)

And this...

Well, I'm not to sure about what to say about this strange crowd of girls!
Let me know if you have any suggestion...!

A good quote for the day~

“Good character is more to be praised than outstanding talent. Most talents are, to some extent, a gift. Good character, by contrast, is not given to us. We have to build it piece by piece-by thought, choice, courage and determination.” -John Luther

As I read this quote, I thought about how, today in our culture someone is more praised if they can catch a ball, or draw well, than if they are kind to their younger sibling, or if they have the fruits of the spirit.
I thought that this was an excellent quote, so I decided to post it.=)
