I'm Back...

The reason that I haven't been posting lately is because, as most of you know, I have been gone on a trip with my family to TN. I was going to post about us leaving to let you all know what was going on, but I got so busy with packing and all the stuff that kinda that goes on, that I never got around to it... Sorry!

I guess since I haven't posted at all about the trip I'll start at the begining.;-)
About two months ago Dad came home from work and told us that he just found out that there was going to be a VOM (Voice Of the Martyrs) conference in Franklin TN, on Saturday, April 21, and that we're going... he said that the speakers were going to be Gracia Burnham, (author of "In the Presence of My Enemies" and "To Fly Again") Getaneh Getaneh, (from Ethiopia) Mujahid El Masih, (from Pakistan) Robert Brock, (VOM speaker) and Darcie Gill (VOM speaker). I was excited about it right away. Not only because the Conference sounded very good, but also because I have a great "phone-Friend", (She says she's my pen-friend, but I've only ever received two letters from her, in the year and a half that I've know her!;-D) who lives in Lebanon TN... So I called her right away and said "Hey, Faith, How far is Franklin from Lebenon?" and she said "Oh, only about forty-five minuets", I said "No, you're kidding, Right?!" (it sounded to good to be true!) She said " No, Why?" After I told her, she got so exicited... Needless to say, so did I!!!
Dad said that we could go to their church Sunday morning and then visit with them after words.
Now, my other friend Deborah, who lives in OH, introduced me to Faith ("because we were so much alike") called me and said "Hey, Faith just told me that you're going down to meet her, and I really want to meet you too... I already talked to my Dad about it and he said it was fine, do you think we could meet at the halfway point? Like in Indiana or something?" I said "Sounds just great to me, but I still have to talk to my Dad about it! Let me get back to you."
Dad did say we could, and we would... So both of our dads talked and decided that we'd meet in Indianapolis on the Thursday before the Conference. (which is the day we left)

We meet at around 5:00 in the evening... We had an awesome time together! We talked, took lots of pictures, and just had a ton of fun!:-D

This is a picture of Deborah, and her sweet family.

Another pic of Deborah and I.

Becca, Deborah, and Rachel

I loved this parrot! He was so much fun! Rachel took a picture of him, and Boy did he screem!
And then every time she held the camera up he'd screem again.;-D

Okay, This is "The Bubble Truck", I know, you all will probably think I'm crazy, but I loved "The Bubble Truck"! My family thought I was crazy to, but for some reason I thought it was so cool!!! The guy inside looked pretty pleased that I was taking pictures of his truck!;-D

WhooHoo!!! Finally I'm in TN!!!

...to be continued...

Christ Is Risen!

Here the bells ringing
They're singing that you can be born again
Here the bells ringing
They're singing Christ is risen from the dead

The angel up on the tombstone
Said He has risen, just as He said
Quickly now, go tell His disciples
That Jesus Christ is no longer dead

Joy to the word, He has risen, hallelujah
He's risen, hallelujah
He's risen, hallelujah

Hear the bells ringing
They're singing that you can be healed right now
Hear the bells ringing, they're singing
Christ, He will reveal it now

The angels, they all surround us
And they are ministering Jesus power
Quickly now, reach out and receive it
For this could be your glorious hour

I love this!

Light up your face with gladness, hide every trace of sadness...Although a tear may be ever so near, that's the time you must keep on trying. Smile! What's the use of crying? You'll find that life is still worthwhile...If you just smile!
