Take A Look...

My sister Rachel did an awesome job on a post about our last trip to the Monroe County Fair.
I don't have the time to do my own, so, please go over to her blog and check it out!

FAITH

Faith isn't the ability to believe long and far into the misty future.
It's simply taking God at His word
and taking the next step.

5 Reasons Why I Love Jesus...

A dear lady tagged me a few days back to list 5 of the reasons why I love Jesus.

I still can't figure out why she tagged me... But, boy, five reasons... that's really hard!

I'll do my best, though!

Because...

1. He is worthy to receive all the rewards of His sufferings.

2. He first loved me.

3. He has given me all things for life and godliness.

4. He shed His precious blood for me on the cross.

5. In Him I've found my resting place, and He has made me glad.

Now I tag...

Just like Rachel!

I found this card today... and it's just like Rachel!

She's just like the green guy!(yoyo)

It's like I've always said "She used to be indecisive, but now she's not sure!"

If you know Rachel, I'm sure you'll agree with me...!

Seeds Planted

"My friend, I stand in judgment now,
and feel that you're to blame somehow,
On earth I walked with you by day,
and never did you show the way.

You knew the Savior in truth and glory,
But never did you tell the story.
My knowledge then was very dim.
You could have led me safe to Him.
Though we lived together, here on earth,

you never told me of the second birth,
And now I stand before eternal hell,
because of heaven's glory you did not tell!"

Dad sharing

I spent this past weekend at the La Crosse county fair witnessing to this lost and dying generation. I covet your prayers at this time. Please pray that the many seeds that were planted would take root in hearts, and lives! The gospel message was shared many times, and Jesus said that if He is lifted up He will draw and men unto Himself!

"Are you thirty-eight?"

Today I was in the living room folding laundry, and my brother Michael was sitting on the the couch next to me, when he asked me "Rebecca, how old are you?" I asked him "How old do you think?", he said "Well, I'm not sure... but I think you're thirty-eight, right?!" ;-)

Needless to say, I was very tickled!  When I told him I was sixteen, he said "Oh, no, I'm sure you're older then that!"

With Him We Cannot Fail

“Without the assistance of that Divine Being, who ever attended him, I cannot succeed.
With that assistance I cannot fail.
Trusting in Him, who can go with me, and remain with you and be everywhere for good, let us confidently hope that all will yet be well.”

Abraham Lincoln
