What's been going on!
Wow! What a couple of weeks this has been! It’s been such a long time since I’ve blogged, and so much has happened! We went to a wedding, went on a family vacation, witnessed at the fair, and saw the “Mississippi Queen”!=) So I guess I’ll try to tell you all a little bit about every thing...so here I go!=)
The wedding we went to was VERY beautiful, I really enjoyed it a lot, also I got to see my good friend Hannah Otterson, that made the trip all the more fun! After that we went and stayed at a hotel right near the wedding, and had our own kind of Rodriguez family fun!=) We went to “Wilderness Walk”, which was a lot like a petting zoo only with an Indian twist to it! Dad taught Chris an I how to swim, and Dad tried to teach the others, but they didn’t seem to get the hang of it.:-(
Last weekend our church ministered at the Vernon County Fair, which I enjoy doing more than anything else! I was there every day except for Sunday because Dad asked me to share a testimony, so I guess I could share with you all a little bit of what I talked about in church. I was very encouraged with the time that I spent there, I had a lot of very good conversations with the young people, and I would go so far as
Dad shareing his testamony
to say that the majority of the young people to day have never heard the Gospel of the good news of Jesus Christ!
Dad shareing his testamonyI think that if anything is going to destroy our nation this going to be moral relativism, because I had so many teenagers tell me that there is no right from wrong, because if you believe something hard enough that’s the way it is.
Me talking to a Police Lady
So I would like to ask that you would pray for all the seeds that were planted, that they would take root in hearts and minds!
Me talking to a Police LadyI would also like to share with every one a very good quote by Charles Sprugeon ; “If you do not have a passion to win souls for Christ, you are not saved yourself be sure of that.”
