My past weekend
Well, here I am, late on my posts.=( Once again I’ve been yup you guessed it BUSY!!!
This past weekend I’ve been at the fair, I wouldn’t choose to spend my time any other way!;-)
I would like to request prayer for the seeds that were planted. That God would prick the heart of people so that they would turn to him.I had some very interesting conversations with different young people, I would even go so far as to say that I believe that there are very many young people who have never even heard the true gospel of Jesus Christ.
I had an interesting chat with a girl(about 16)and a guy(about16 or17) who was by the Pro Life table(right next to us) who thought that abortion and homosexuality were alright. So as I got to talking to them the guy says to me as were talking about abortion, “Well your probably Pro Bush, you hate gay people, and anyone else that believe different that you? So I said to him “First of all I’m not especially pro Bush, It doesn’t matter to me if Kerry or anyone else is the president, because the Bible says that God controls the course of the nations. Then he said to me “Are you serious? I said “Yes I am. Then he said “well what about the rest?” So I said “I don’t hate people that are in the homosexual life style at all, I love them with all my heart because Jesus died for them, I do think that what their doing is sin but that doesn’t change my love for them at all! And do I hate everybody that doesn’t believe like me? NO not at all, Jesus died for them too.” And then the guy looks at me and says “well that’s good, then you must not be like most of them then.” Than the girl went on to tell me that she is a lesbian, but its not her fault that the way she was made. After that she had to go. So she gave me her e-mail address, and gave her mine. Since then I have received one e-mail from her. I would just like to request prayer for them, because they need Jesus very much.
Me doing a Survey. There were many other conversations like that, that I don’t have time to go into. But as you go your way today will you please think to bring these people to the Lord, in your prayers?! You can fight a mighty battle if you pray! I once heard that behind every powerful moving of God, there are many prayers going up His throne for that very thing!=) So over all I think it went very well!

Hi Becc@,
Praise God all we have to do is obey God and speak to people - plant the seed. It's God that gives the increase!
1Co 3:6 I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase.
1Co 3:7 So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase.
Hey between you and Rachel you would have to own multiple computers. How many computers does a family of 13 have? :-)
Our young family of 3 is blessed to have 3 - 1 PC, 1 laptop, and one Pocket PC which all have Internet connectivity. Guess part of that comes from my work being in the IT field.
You girls should start an air conditioning fund. Put a PayPal link on your blogs that says donate to the AC fund here. :-) Have a great day!

Hey Josiah,
Welcome to my blog!=)
That's right; Praise the Lord, that He gives the increase!
I have to use Rachel's computer, so thats why I don't post as often as she does!;-(
You can be the first to make a donation for AC! We will accept it though mail rather than PayPal. Let me know if you need my address.;-D LOL!
Thanks for the comment!

Yeah, the lucky girl gets to use my personal laptop just about whenever...:-)
Actually, Dad is the only other one in the house with a laptop... but I'm sure it won't be long before that changes!:-)

Becca,
I'll certainly keep those folks in prayer. That's wonderful that you go to share with them a little bit.
In Christ,

Since reading your sister's post yesterday I have been praying that the seeds you planted will grow into faith in Christ. Thank you for the reminder to keep praying!
