My Latest Projects
I thought I'd just post some pictures of my latest project, so you all could see what I've been up to lately... =)

This past month the worked on cutting out, and sewing together this quilt/throw.
Now I'm working on hand quilting it together. I've really been enjoying doing this,
although my left pointer finger is feeling very sore, and pricked.=/
My family thinks it's kinda funny that I use the thimble on my thumb,
but for me it's allot harder to use my finger.
For some reason, I don't feel like I'm in control of the needle when I do that.

For the past year I've been working on embroidering these quilt square blocks.
(It sounds like a long time I know, but, believe me, it takes lots of time!)
I just recently started my fourth block. I've got two more to go after this.
I hope to make some sort of a hand quited throw. I haven't decided whether I'm going to add other blocks of material to it, or just make a small throw. We'll see!=)

In January a sweet (and very patient!) neighbor girls taught me how to make these bracelet/bookmarks.
They really are allot of fun. I love the color coordinating part of it!=)

I like the thimble on my thumb too. Never figured out how to make it work on my finger. :)
Good job on your projects! Try to get as much of that done now because when you're married with kids like me, quilts soon become a thing of the past, unfortunately. :)

Thanks everyone for your encouagement!
Coeur d'court, I'm glad to find someone else uses their thumb too.;-)
But, Me? Get Married? Ha! I don't think so... but, I suppose you never know what sort of strange thing could happen!=D

Watch what you say, Becca Dear, Court told me that she really didn't think she'd ever get married shortly before she met Toby. And what should she do? Flip head over heels for the Nebraska boy. Fortunately I'm much more sensible and level-headed :P :D. LOL
Hey, I LOVED the pics. Your work is so pretty!!

Good one, Britt! ;-D

OK Britt, You must not really know me... I'm NOT the kind of person who will say that I'm not going to do something, and then do exactly that!=P

I'd still caution you to be careful, Miss Becca Liz... Court was always a girl of her word, until that day fate flipped her into a bottomless pit of love.
Of course there is a vast possibility that you are as hopeless a case as myself :)

Wow, quite the discussion going on here and I was missing it all.
Okay Britt, I'm glad you admit your hopelessness. And Becca... Some things you say you'll never do, are the very words you happily eat later. :)
